With the twists and turns of life, our clients often come to us feeling defeated and discouraged. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy, they may think that abortion is their only answer.

You have a voice that can impact lives and help moms and dads make healthy decisions. When you become a volunteer at Oasis Resource Center, you provide hope to those who desperately need it.

Volunteering with Oasis is not confined to any particular position. It can be as creative as the individual serving. Commitment levels vary depending on the role and how much direct interaction occurs with the client.

Afternoon Receptionist

As a receptionist, you’ll be the first friendly face most clients see when they walk through our doors. Those initial interactions set the tone for the client’s appointment, so your role is essential to our mission.

You’ll help schedule appointments, answer phones, and complete other clerical duties as needed.

Client Advocate

Clients need someone to provide compassion and grace as they navigate their pregnancy choices. As a Client Advocate, you’ll lead confidential conversations with our clients, provide vital resources, and act as a non-judgmental source of support.

Material Donations Coordinator

Our clients and their families often need items like diapers and infant clothing. As a material donations coordinator, you’ll help process and manage these donations so we can help clients as quickly as possible.

Weekly/Monthly Cleaning (Individual or Group)

Providing our clients with a clean, safe environment helps them know they’ll be cared for. We welcome interested volunteers to assist with cleaning duties weekly or monthly.

Meal Prep for New Mothers

The postpartum period can be a challenging time. Our new mothers are often sleep-deprived as they adjust to caring for a newborn. You can help them focus on bonding with their baby by meal prepping.

Fundraising Volunteer

We always need volunteers to help organize, set up, and manage our fundraising events. The proceeds from these events enable us to continue providing life-affirming services to families.

Our fundraising events include our Annual Oasis Banquet and Annual Clay Shoot. These are excellent opportunities to connect with other volunteers and learn more about our services.

Our staff will train all volunteers before they begin their positions.
